Tennis is the most beautiful sport to watch for me. I just love it. Backhands, forehands, volleys, lobs, smash, drop shots, they are incredible in today’s life thanks to the development of the technology which allows talented players to show their potential and creativity at a great level. This thing gives us, tennis fans, the opportunity to watch great tennis and incredible contemporary players, such as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic and so many others, playing their best game in competitions.
I am not a very big fan of all the players. I do have my favourite ones. These are: Richard Gasquet, Janko Tipsarevic, Novak Djokovic, Tommy Haas, Igor Andreev, Andy Roddick, Fernando Gonzales, Marcos Baghdatis, Phillip Kohlschreiber. And of course, among these, Roger Federer. Who could not enjoy him playing? I watch tennis for the beauty of this sport and I appreciate some certain things at every player. And sometimes it’s so nice just to sit and watch the beautiful muscles moving…
Tennis is not just strength, although these days it is essential for you as a player to hit the ball as fast and as hard as you can. It is also grace and creativity. It is a complex game, which asks for total concentration, a lot of confidence and thinking the game with a clear mind. Then it requires great shape, so a lot of training, great shots and taking advantage at your best of your qualities and chances you get. A tennis match is not over until you see the other shaking your hand and congratulating you like a true sportsman.
And if you haven’t discovered its beauty until now, give it a chance! It’s really worth it.
